OAN Digital Content Team
I worked on the digital content team for a national news network called One America News. During my time, I wrote and copyedited hundreds of articles for the website and social media which attracts millions of dedicated followers. I was also given the opportunity to restructure the company Instagram, creating a new design template making it easier and quicker to post, while maintaining a professional design.
Non-Profit Marketing Plan
I had the opportunity to partner with a non-profit client and provide the with a marketing plan. I was able to partner with Crossing Church San Marcos, a brand new church plant in San Marcos CA. In order to make the plan, I collected primary research by interviewing 11 members and meeting with my client several times to make a marketing area analysis. After finding the needs of the church, I was able to make recommendations based on the prior assessment. All of my recommendations were especially made with my clients needs in mind. My client was a pleasure to work with and was very excited to start utilizing many of the recommendations I made.
Marketing Research Report
My partner and I worked with a client (Roman Cucina) and created a marketing research report in order to help the client increase customer loyalty and satisfaction. In order to make the report, there were over 30 customer interviews, a focus group that consisted of 8 people, and a 2 page survey based on previous research objectives. The survey was administered to over 125 customers. The data was then received and analyzed to make a report that is fully catered to the client.
TP Themeparks
I currently run a Youtube channel where I provide people with information about all of the theme parks that I have been to. I also make Vlogs using 2 different softwares. (iMovie and Logic Pro X) I started the channel from scratch in December of 2021. Around one year later I have multiple videos with over 10 thousand views and a couple thousand followers on my Instagram.
Target Market Project
In this project I researched the streetwear industry and focused on two businesses within that industry. I went to the two businesses and did customer and professional interviews in order to gain knowledge on what customers like and dislike within the industry. I was also able to find what makes the streetwear business thrive. After this research, I created a hypothetical business that would compete with the other two I was researching. I used this prior research to make sure my business catered to all of the customers needs and wants.
In-N-Out Swot Analysis
In the class principles of management, I was able to group up with a team and do a swot analysis of In-N-Out. This was a great experience because we were able to dive into a company of our choice and see what we could recommend they improve on. There were some moments where we had setbacks and challenges as a group but we were able to overcome it and produce a great presentation. One thing I would do differently for this project is I would have went to In-N-Out and talked to employees about what works well and what could be improved. By doing this, our presentation would have been more reputable and more accurate.
